Yes I think Social media apps should require a identity verification since there is much of explicit content which can affect an underage audience, Social media is filled with a ton of underage audience. It can even reduce the number of scammers on internet since most of scams nowadays are now being operated on social media. Big terrorist operations are discussed on Social media apps like Telegram. Social media apps are even used for Drug supply. Identity verification can lower the risks of terrorism and drug supply.
